Get to know some of our wonderful staff members of Aiea UMC

  • Rob Lloyd,  Senior Pastor

    Pastor Rob Lloyd comes to us from Virginia, but is no stranger to Hawaii. He served the Kapolei United Methodist Mission and was active in the Hawaii District of the United Methodist Church. He retired as a lieutenant colonel in the Army with the Judge Advocate General (JAG) and then completed his theological studies at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D. C. Rob’s passion is to lead and encourage people to go ever deeper in their faith and in their relationship with God through Jesus Christ, His wife, Lisa, a retired Army colonel with the JAG, is also a graduate of the Wesley Theological Seminary. Rob and Lisa both enjoy travel, movies, and music. They have two grown children, Mary and Wesley, and three grandchildren, Kyle, Elise, and Sawyer.

  • Joseph Siofele, Associate Pastor

    Pastor Joe has been our Samoan language pastor for over almost 2 decades. His gentle spirit & abiding faith makes him a natural leader. Joe and his wife Su'e have 4 children & 4 grandchildren. 

  • nikki jewell,  Executive Assistant

    Nikki grew up in Albany, New York where she attended Temple Baptist Church for 13 years. She moved to Spring Hill, Florida where she attended Highlands Baptist Church until she was 22. Nikki has been a military spouse for 7 years. She met her husband in youth group when she was 14 and in 2011 God brought him back into her life while he was stationed in Jacksonville, FL. In Jacksonville, God blessed them with a daughter named Piper (6). Six months later they moved to Oahu where they have lived for 5 1/2 years. Nikki loves anything coffee, and has a passion for baking.



    Heather has a passion for children and has worked at several preschools as well as in the childcare ministry at Virginia Beach UMC. She has received her Bachelor's degree in Heath and Human Services and a Masters in Social Work from San Diego State University.

    Heather has been a military spouse for almost 15 years, which has afforded her and husband Sean the opportunity to travel all around the United States. Together they have three children, Kelan 11, Aubrey 7 & Lochlan.

  • jon palompo,  Rainbow (vocal) Choir director

    Jonathon-Michael Palompo is a native of Vallejo, California and moved to Hawaii to help start a church with his family. He is currently enrolled at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa studying to obtain his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. Jonathon has worked with many choruses across the island including the Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus, the Leeward Community College Choirs, the Voices of Aloha touring choir, and the various choirs featured at UH Mānoa. Jonathon is also a member of the St. Andrews Cathedral Choral Scholars and the UH Mānoa Chamber Singers.


  • karen Carlisle, bell choir director

    Karen has rung handbells for more than 40 years and directed youth and adult handbell choirs for over 27 years. She is an accomplished solo ringer and a clinician for handbells, doing maintenance work for numerous choirs. She graduated from the University of Hawaii with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Karen has lived in Hawaii since 1995. She's married to Dan, and has two lovely young children.
